Scuba diving

Mesmerizing and exciting dive spots exist all along the Pacific coastline of Costa Rica. Here you have the opportunity to embark on some of the most thrilling dive expeditions that feature the sightings of large pelagic species and the discovery of unique underwater structures, such as volcanic rock arches, caves and vibrant coral.

With the guidance of friendly, knowledgeable dive instructors you will be able to descend to depths between 40 to 100 feet, depending on the day’s conditions. Typically, Pacific diving allows for visibility from 20 to 100 feet, with an average of approximately 45 feet.  Dive sites exist for all levels of divers and are home to Giant Manta Rays, White Tip Reef sharks, Eagle rays, Devil rays, turtles, dolphins, Moray eels, puffer fish, giant clusters of schooling Jacks, Grunts and if you are really lucky in the summer months, Humpback and Pilot whales that come to have their babies in Costa Rica!

Prerequisite is to have a scuba diver certification and the tour includes scuba diving equipment.

As an alternative, if you are not ready for scuba diving but have an interest, you may take scuba diving lessons for a certification or to improve your scuba diving skills. Taking the course will help gain confidence and allow you to meet other scuba diving enthusiasts.
