Vista Los Sueños Zip Line Tour

Price: USD $102.00 per person


The Vista Los Sueños Canopy is designed not only as an extreme adventure park, but a way to enjoy nature without harming the environment; the property boasts spectacular views of the Herradura Bay and Island, as well as the Nicoya Gulf. The adventure starts with a 15-minute ride aboard our specially designed 25-passenger tractor.

Once you arrive to the top of the mountain you then descend to the bottom via a series of zip lines. The tour consists of suspended platforms on tall tropical trees and safely interconnected with steel cables. To swing from tree to tree we use pulleys and climbing gear of the best quality thru 14 platforms and 12 cables with a total cable distance of 3.5 kilometers (11,483 ft.)… including the longest cable in the area of 2,400 ft! The height of the platforms is between 60 to 132 ft. above the ground.

Chocolate Experience

Price: USD $98.00 per person


Start with a short 30-minute walk, that will introduce you to the Central Pacific transitional forest. During the walk, observe the amazing flora and fauna. Vista Los Sueños Adventure Park has the first International Cocoa collection of the Central Pacific, during this experience you will learn about the different varieties of cocoa, as well as the ancestral history and the impact on world economy. Most important, you will be able to try the actual cocoa fruit and also partake in the cocoa production process; as well as try different types of chocolate and mix it with tropical fruits.

As a plus to this experience, you will learn about two of the most traditional agricultural products of Costa Rica: sugar cane and coffee, having direct contact with the plants and natural history of these crops. At the end of the experience, there will be organic chocolate bars with different cocoa percentages, as well as other cocoa products for purchase.

Horseback Riding to the Spring Waterfall

This is perhaps one of the best ways to discover the wonders of the rainforest; Vista Hacienda has some of the best kept horses and views in the area, come and discover nature at its best in our private, exclusive 80-acre farm, where you will also enjoy your own private waterfall.

Once you arrive we will lecture with safety standards all participants and then depart on our journey to the waterfalls and natural swimming pools. Along the way you will see farms, and get a closer look at nature, as you start ascending through the rain forest. Your naturalist guide may be able to spot some great wildlife such as: Toucans, Scarlet Macaws and White Faced Monkeys. Upon arrival to the swimming pool area, your guide will set you up with some fresh fruit and water. Everybody will have some extra time to relax and enjoy the waterfalls and natural slide.

Jungle ATV & River Tour

Price: USD $110.00 per person


Upon arrival, in the adventure center, you will be lectured in safety instructions and then take a test run on a specially designed private track, before you begin your journey. Once you are confident with your vehicle, your guide will lead you along the jungle trails, following rivers and sometimes-bumpy dirt paths. The riding time is approximately 1.5 hours. Time and trail conditions allowing, you can make a quick swim in one of the small rivers and pools, were the guides will have fresh fruits and water.

Drivers must be 18 years. Riders must be a minimum of six years old to ride. You may get dirty on the ATV portion of the tour, so please dress appropriately. If the path is wet it can become very muddy. You may wish to bring a bandana. You are going into the jungle and insects are to be expected. Insect repellent is available for sale at the beginning of the tour for guests who did not bring their own.

Jungle Cruise Bird Watching & Crocodile Safari

Visit one of the last natural refuges for thousands of birds that pass though this region during their annual migrations. While our covered barge cruises along the slow-moving river, we will spot an incredible number of bird species.

We will come across iguanas, and impressive crocodiles basking in the sun. Mangrove swamps are predominant and home of this exotic wild life, this is one of the best and most complete bird watching tours in Costa Rica.

Tranopy (Aerial Tram + Zip Line Combination)

The innovative Tranopy Tour combines the in-depth forest view of an aerial tram with the excitement of a canopy tour. A professional naturalist guide will accompany you, pointing out some of the secrets of the primary and secondary rainforest that surrounds the adventure park.

The Tranopy stars with a ride on the famous Rain Forest Aerial Tram. The zip-line-canopy portion of the tour features 10 cables five of which are 200 meters long. All in all, over 1.5 kilometers of cables will take you through everything from the pristine rain forest to weeping views high above the forest floor.

Outrigger & Snorkeling Tour

The outrigger canoes are 40 ft. long and 21 inches wide with a float on either side making the boat unflappable. It can fit up to eight passengers and a guide, which is great for those when you need a break from paddling. The tour leaves from Playa Agujas, a blue flag rocky beach, twenty minutes north of Jacó and one of the most popular snorkel/dive spots on the Pacific coast. You will be soft rowing, is like white water rafting in the ocean, everybody in the canoe must work.

After snorkeling, beach time, tidal pool exploration, hermit crab races, it will be time to paddle back to our put in location. Upon arrival, ice cold soft drinks and local beer will be offered to our guests before their departure. Sea kayaks are available as well.

Surfing Lessons at Jacó Beach

Jacó Beach is one of the best surfing beaches for beginners in the Central Pacific. It offers many areas for practicing and learning this great sport. This tour is for amateurs who want to learn the skills needed to start surfing. Age is not an issue; if you always wanted to learn how to surf this may be your opportunity!

During the tour our guests will learn how to paddle and take control of the surfboard, to ride the green part of the wave, to catch unbroken waves on their own, ride the open and facto select and catch the correct wave of the set. Whether you are a beginner or experienced surfer, to be in contact with the ocean is always a great experience.

FULL DAY TOURS


Manuel Antonio National Park

The magic of the beach and the greenery of the forest come together in one place: Manuel Antonio. With miles of white beaches shaded by the trees of the evergreen forest at the sand’s edge, this is one of the most popular national parks. In addition to beaches, Manuel Antonio protects a very humid tropical forest where species of flora and fauna in danger of extinction coexist, a mangrove, marine environments, islands and a lagoon of 14 hectares.

In a short trip you can cross several paths that will take you through a primary forest. You will also have stunning views of the sea and you can enjoy the wildlife that is possible to find at any time. It is one of the few remaining habitats of the mono tití; keep your eyes open for two-toed sloths, and other frequent inhabitants like monkeys and iguanas. There will be enough time to walk the nature trails and swim in the pristine white sand beaches. Lunch will follow the visit.

Naranjo River White Water Rafting (Class III)

Depart towards the town of Quepos, continue the scenic drive to the river put in place in Londres town. Once on site at the private property where the put in is located, you will be ready to tame the rapids of this river that borders the Manuel Antonio National Park. The property features stables, corrals, an open-air waiting area and bathrooms. After safety instructions and time to practice you are ready to board the 6-passenger rafts. Each raft has a guide who will provide instructions during the journey, and for additional safety, a kayaker will accompany the group close by.

Naranjo River flows through mountains, jungle gorges, farmlands and palm plantations. The river’s course is steep and challenging, perfect for adventure seekers searching an adrenaline rush. Halfway through the tour, you’ll have a break where you can catch up your breath and admire the view. Towards the end of the river, the waters calm down and you can take in the sights while cruising over the last few rapids. After completing this one hour and 45 minute rafting tour, a tasty lunch - made with fresh local ingredients – will be served.
